The Harford County Green Party is working hard on its first try for local
office. Brian Bittner is running for Harford County Council District B,
representing Fallston and Abingdon. In his first ever campaign for public
office, Brian is taking on two experienced local politicians in the
three-term Republican incumbent and the three-time Democratic
challenger. Brian is working hard to bring his message to Harford County by
having several letters to the editor published in the local paper. He has
been waving signs at busy intersections, speaking at forums sponsored by the
League of Women Voters and the Greater Fallston Association, and visiting
hundreds of houses with flyers reminding people to vote for Brian Bittner
for County Council.
You can see upcoming events (including Brian on the Harford County Network
Saturday nights at 7 pm throughout October) and more information at
www.BrianBittner.org. You can also contact the campaign about volunteering
at brian at BrianBittner.org .
Several new members will be joining the Harford County Council in
November and the Harford County Green Party will present them with a Green
legislative agenda for 2007. We will be discussing our agenda and campaign
ideas at our next meeting. Meetings are held the first of every month. To
RSVP for a meeting, visit www.HarfordCountyGreenParty.com or email
coordinator at HarfordCountyGreenParty.com.
